This is one of those rare sites when novice divers can get up close to large Pelagics without worrying about the currents. The Corals act as an excellent breakwater leaving you to enjoy the show. Timing is everything when going to Manta Point. Larger animals are more prevalent when the Plankton is numerous. Plankton numbers are seasonal but local guides will know the best times to visit the area. There are still some beautiful Corals to see even if the Manta Rays are elsewhere.
